A Kempton Park primary school teacher was suspended on Tuesday after he was caught printing child pornography on school facilities, the Gauteng Education Department said.
“Such behaviour poses a potential risk to learners at the school.” Said department spokesperson Charles Phahlane.

The department has issued a precautionary suspension against the teacher.

Phahlane said the department viewed sexual misconduct in schools in an extremely serious light. The department had accordingly taken a decision to review all cases where “allegations of sexual or racial abuse” had been made.
